Holy Relics of St.Gregorious at

the Malecuriz Dayro

St.George Dayro ('Malelcuriz Dayro'), where the Holy relic of Chathuruthy Mor Gregorious Bava (Parumala Kochu Thirumeni) is interred, is situated atop a scenic hillock near Puthenkuriz, Ernakulam District, Kerala.  It was here the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Seminary began functioning before moving to Udayagiri near Mulunthuruthy.  The monastery is also the final resting place of late lamented Catholicose of the East Mor Baselios Paulose II.   This St.George Monastery is now under reconstruction.
